Pennies for Paws Campaign

Despite the horrid weather, we had quite the turnout at TSC in Niles, MI for our event last month! I still am going through a half a can of pennies in a large coffee can, LOL.  We have quite a few spays and neuters coming up so this campaign couldn't have come at a better time.

Well, Bella doesn't like to swim, but at least she isn't afraid to get in the water!

ADOPTION EVENT SUNDAY JANUARY 4TH

Come join JEAN LUC, MR. SPOCK, and PHOEBE at PetCo in Granger from noon to 3pm Sunday!

Also, come meet Adopted German Shepherd, DIESEL!

Many other kittens of all different ages will be there as well.

UPDATE: Bella

Bella is heading to Fort Wayne on Friday for a surgical consult!  We have almost $1,000 in donations, but the surgical estimate is $3,000. That doesn't cover her rehab, but we will work on that when it is time. Her Paypal link is on the Home page as well as the Adoption page

BELLA: CRiTICAL TIME FOR DONATIONS!

Beautiful Bella has been hit by a car. We are asking for donations to cover her surgical costs!  Her acetabulum is broken in TWO places. This surgery, at the low end, will cost $1500 (plate put in to hold the pelvis together). 

  At the time of the accident, we had JUST paid off another veterinary bill and had only $50 in the Dream Paws account.

A visit with Chloe

In early December, Gary and I drove to Valparaiso, IN to meet with Chloe's foster mom from Midwest Border Collie Rescue (Jackie). Her family was visiting friends for a birthday party!  What great luck that we were all able to meet and visit.
